How many Sajda in Quran with para?

The Holy Book Quran has chapters that clearly instruct the Sajda in the Quran or Islamic prostration. The act of bowing before Allah, known in the Quran as “Sajda-e-Tilawat,” is a sign of submission and humility. Para 9 Surah Al-A’raf (Chapter 7), Ayah 206

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ وَيُسَبِّحُونَهُ وَلَهُ يَسْجُدُونَ ۩

Those close to your Lord are not ashamed to worship Him; they sing His praises and bow down to Him.

 

Para 13 Surah Ar-Ra’d (Chapter 13), Ayah 15

وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَظِلَالُهُمْ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ ۩

Whether they intend to or not, all living things in the universe bow down in submission to Allah. This includes their shadows, who do the same thing every morning and every evening.

Para 14 Surah An-Nahl (Chapter 16), Ayah 50

أَتَىٰ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

The Will of Allah shall come to pass; endeavor not to accelerate it; glory be to Him; far be it from Him to have the companions they attribute unto Him.

 

Para 15 Surah Al-Isra (Chapter 17), Ayah 109

وَيَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ يَبْكُونَ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ خُشُوعًا ۩

They sob, which serves to deepen their (sincere) sense of humiliation.

 

Para 16 Surah Maryam (Chapter 19), Ayah 58

وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِالْأُنْثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ

When one of them learns that a girl kid has been born, his expression darkens, and he feels an overwhelming sense of loss.

 

Para 17 Surah Al-Hajj (Chapter 22), Ayah 18

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَسْجُدُ لَهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ وَالنُّجُومُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَالشَّجَرُ وَالدَّوَابُّ وَكَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ الْعَذَابُ ۗ وَمَنْ يُهِنِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ مُكْرِمٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۩

Do you not see that the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the animals, and many people pay their respects to Allah? But many deserve punishment, and those whom Allah will dishonor, no one will ever elevate to prominence because Allah’s will is ultimate.

 

Para 17 Surah Al-Hajj (Chapter 22), Ayah 77

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ارْكَعُوا وَاسْجُدُوا وَاعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَافْعَلُوا الْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ۩

O you who have faith! Worship your Lord in submission and do good deeds to be blessed.

 

Para 19 Surah Al-Furqan (Chapter 25), Ayah 60

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ قَالُوا وَمَا الرَّحْمَٰنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا ۩

“Prostrate to (Allah) Most Gracious!” they are told, to which they respond, “And what is (Allah) Most Gracious? Should we grovel before what thou shalt have us do? And it makes them run even faster (away from the Truth).

 

Para 19 Surah An-Naml (Chapter 27), Ayah 26

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ۩

There is no God but Allah!

 

Para 21 Surah As-Sajda (Chapter 32), Ayah 15

إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهَا خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُوا بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۩

Those alone are true believers in Our Signs who, when recounted to them, fall on their knees in adoration and praise of their Lord and are never arrogant or conceited.

 

Para 23 Surah Sad (Chapter 38), Ayah 24

قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِ ۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِنَ الْخُلَطَاءِ لَيَبْغِي بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَقَلِيلٌ مَا هُمْ ۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُودُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّاهُ فَاسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًا وَأَنَابَ ۩

(David) responded, “He has unquestionably wronged thee in demanding thy (single) ewe be added to his (flock of) ewes: truly many are the partners (in business) who wrong each other; not so do those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and how few are they?”…And when David saw that We were testing him, he bowed low before his Lord, cried out for mercy, and turned (to Allah in repentance).

 

Para 24 Surah Fussilat (Chapter 41), Ayah 38

فَإِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْأَمُونَ ۩

But if the (Unbelievers) be proud, (it makes no difference): for in the presence of thy Lord are those who glorify Him day and night. They never give up, and they never think they’re above it.

 

Para 27 Surah An-Najm (Chapter 53), Ayah 62

فَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ وَاعْبُدُوا ۩

Instead, genuflect before Allah and worship (Him)!

 

Para 30 Surah Inshiqaq (Chapter 84), Ayah 21

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩

And they do not bow down in submission when the Qur’an is read to them

 

Para 30 Surah Al-Alaq (Chapter 96), Ayah 19

كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَاسْجُدْ وَاقْتَرِبْ ۩

Day, pay no attention to him; rather, worship and get nearer (to Allah)!
